A more detailed understanding of a LAMP stack and the CLoud

Introduction, a brief history and proposal..

This core component of the internet is called a LAMP system.  L A. M. P.  is an acronym for  Lenox, Apache, My S Q L, and P H P.  All LAMP components were made as open source, open and free to use. This is the system that became the internet, a system that is open and free to use, where all you needed was knowledge of them and you could build applications that would connect computers world wide.

With this LAMP system, a string of new companies came about and a new multi billion dollar business, was now born, Social Media.  Amazon 1994.  Yahoo 1995.  Google 1996, the at the turn of the century(2000) Dries Byart,  creates Drupal,  by putting together these core open source applications of the internet into one system.  Developers and entrepreneurs forged ahead creating MySpace in 2003,  2004 Facebook.  2006 Twitter and in  2009 Uber.

This site Thimbol.com is the next step in this open source revolution, a commercial business that is open to all, managed through a crowd sourced open democratic management platform.
