Founded in 2010 by John Ballay and Matt Mueller, Knot Standard combines a unique high tech approach to traditional tailoring. Colin Hunter and Peyton Jenkins, who met at the University of Virginia, began the company in 2009 in New York City. With both being from Virginia, Hunter from Charlottesville, they already have customers in the area.

Ezra Paul Lizio-Katzen has been working in men's clothing for the past 15 years and after working for Armani, Zegna, and Saks Fifth Avenue, among others, he decided to expand upon his knowledge of the industry and launched Ezra Paul Clothing in 2010.

Started in 1965 by Craig Fox and William Frank, Wm Fox & Co set out with the mission to bring Washington's gentlemen the finest clothing and furnishings from around the world. With William leaving the business in the 70's, Craig vowed to keep his dream alive to create the best men's shop in Washington. Wm Fox became a true family business with Craig's youngest son Ryan joining the business in 2006.

We are Daniela Cerman and Michaela Schwartz, two Czech republic natives who met fifteen years ago in Washington DC. Daniela has a fashion degree from Le Grand Chic Institute in Bologna, Italy, where she studied and gained incredible sewing and couture making skills. Michaela has a business degree and a passion for all things fashion. Together, we decided to combine our talents a create a fashion company.
