Quentin has been a tailor for 35 years,  and supervises our alterations service.  He is a master tailor who has worked with noted Washington Custom Tailors, and specializes in fine custom clothing. His shop is conveniently located in Silver Spring, but he is also available for appointments at you home or office. 

 Regardless if you need a pair of pants hemmed, or a fine bench made suit of clothes, Quentin will assure a proper fit, and quality workmanship.

We didn’t have fancy investors. We made a lot of mistakes. Our manufacturing was slow. Our selection was limited. Our website was confusing.

Each jacket is carefully hand-cut by Baytok, this becoming the template that is the basis of the first fitting.

Founder Tom Comeau has decades of experience selecting luxurious fabrics and meticulously designing garments that fit the personal and professional image of each individual customer, both gentlemen and ladies. Tom is joined at M.T. Clothiers by wife Lori, son Michael and daughter Kristen in a growing family business that has acquired an extremely loyal following.

Tailoring Washington D.C.'s most distinguished clientele since 1968. Mr. Field Sr. brought Savile Row style and construction to the U.S. His son, William P. Field II, continues this tradition today.
